Without CAP, I would not have even auditioned for the school that I ended up committing to. For that, along with so many other reasons, I am so grateful for it. With an amazing group of people heading the event that care about seeing every student succeed, CAP is the perfect way to dive into the college audition process. I don’t know what I would have done without it, and I am extremely thankful for the countless ways it has helped me in this amazing, yet stressful, time.
CAP came to me as a blessing in disguise. I didn't even know what CAP was until I realized that every spot at CCM's auditions were full and that CAP was the only option I had, but six months later, I can say that my decision to attend CAP United in Atlanta was the best thing I did for my entire college search and audition process. It was clear to me from the moment I walked into the preliminary events on Thursday night that I was surrounded by people who wanted the best for me and were doing everything they could to spread positive energy during such a stressful time. From massage trains to meditation, from positive affirmations to the acknowledgment and discussion of our fears, from the complete disclosure of each day's events to the prior vocal run in the space that we would audition in, CAP United is exactly what every performer wants in a college audition experience.
The structure of CAP United was exactly what I needed, and the fact that so many schools were there to consider me at the same time, rather than juggling walk-ins and schedules, made the whole process much less stressful. The overall environment created by the entire CAP staff was truly optimal for performers and entirely supportive. I'll never forget seeing CAP instructors dance in celebration outside the audition room when they heard a performer hit their final note! Everyone at the event, from CAP staff to parents to the fellow students to the adjudicators, helped to create such a special environment that helped me perform to my fullest ability.
The CAP United experience gave me all three acceptances I'm currently deciding between, the confidence I needed to continue down this crazy path, and friendly faces at other auditions (which meant so much to me as one of the only people in my area on this path). I might even be going to school with some fellow CAP students! CAP United completely changed the path of my audition process for the better, and I couldn't be more thankful!

This process has been absolutely amazing. Going into Unifieds, I started feeling absolutely exhausted, lightheaded, and weird overall — a few weeks later a blood test told me I had mono. Luckily, it’s only contagious through my saliva, so I didn’t get anyone sick!! With the help of my family, however, pushing through all of my auditions became a possibility. I’ve learned so much about personal diligence, the importance of patience and positivity, and how camaraderie is more powerful than competition. Thank you CAP for starting off the audition year with so much fun, joy, and excitement!! For everyone that’s already committed — congrats, your hard work has payed off!! For everyone still unsure — you’re not alone and will end up in a place that fits your perfectly!

I am forever grateful to the College Audition Project. Auditioning for colleges can be very stressful and nerve wracking, but auditioning for 22 colleges in 2 days was such a whirlwind. They make the audition process super easy and seamless that I didn’t have to stress about anything. I don’t know how I would’ve survived this entire audition season without the help of CAP> Thanks to them, I am now able to got to my dream school and tell more people how incredible CAP and their amazing team are.
I honestly couldnʼt have asked for a better experience from CAP. It made everything so much easier and helped me get into my dream school! If you have the opportunity to go to CAP UA next year take advantage of it.
CAP was such a useful tool to have through this entire process. If it wasn't for the entire CAP team I would not know what the heck I was doing. I don't come from a big fine arts family and had no idea how this process worked. CAP United was so incredible and I made so many amazing friends through the experience. I would not have made it through this crazy audition process with out CAP. I mean 22 schools in 2 days! And the best part? The weekend did not even feel like an audition. Everyone was so supportive, and truly wanted others to succeed. Plus, I met some amazing people at CAP United. I made relationships that I know will be kept no matter what school I go to. Honeslty, doing CAP was one of the best decisions I could have possibly made for my college audition process. I wish CAP students 2020 the best of luck!
When I first started the college audition process, I had absolutely no idea where to begin. Throughout the entire year, the College Audition Project team was incredibly supportive and showed me exactly what to do in order to get where I wanted to be. They helped me with everything from what schools would be a good fit for me to what shoes I was going to wear in the audition! CAP Uniteds made auditioning fun and stress-free, plus the early date meant hearing back from schools much quicker. It was a crazy year for me, and without CAP, I can say with certainty that I wouldn’t have gotten into a school that I’m absolutely in love with!
CAP was the best experience I could have asked for. I was new into the college audition thing and they were so inviting and helpful. I learned so much with them and could not have done it without them. They helped me find who I want to be as a performer and helped grow my confidence. Everyone in the staff was so kind and encouraging. I loved every second of working with the CAP program. It was an amazing experience!
I couldn’t speak more highly about College Audition Project and the experience I had at the CAP United Auditions. This process can be incredibly stressful, but having the CAP team’s unending support has made all the difference. Auditioning with them felt easy and fun, rather than stressful and nerve-wracking. It was, by far, the most organized audition I’ve been to, and every person there was so incredibly kind and willing to help you with anything. At the beginning of this year, auditioning was something I was very afraid of. However, thanks to CAP, it’s now one of my favorite things to do! I’m very grateful to everyone involved in this program, and I have full faith that because of all I’ve learned through them, I’ll end up exactly where I need to be.
The College Audition Project helped me find the best school for my needs as a performer! Because of the importance put on finding a great fit for your personality and not just picking a big name, I chose a school that allows me to take all of the extra classes that I want and need to grow as well as double major in another field that I am passionate about! Having the faculty at the College Audition Project during the audition process was such a blessing! They really know what they are talking about, and their hearts are so full of love for this craft and the kids trying to pursue it. I love them all dearly and would recommend the College Audition Project to anyone that want to seriously pursue theater and find the best school for them as individuals!

I would not be anywhere close to the performer I am today without the teachings, guidance, and assistance of CAP. It can take you to new heights, whether you are a novice or a seasoned auditioner. The college audition process is a harrowing one, and without the knowledge and support that CAP provides, I definitely would have drowned!
Without the training I received at PW my senior year, I would not be receiving the outstanding education that I am now. In addition to advancing our skill sets to prepare us for auditions, the staff encourages our confidence and passion for the art form. We were constantly reminded that hard work and determination would help us achieve our dreams.

The College Audition Process absolutely changed me as a performer. They taught me so much, not only about myself as an artist, but also about myself as a human, and gave me the necessary tools and self-confidence to be really competitive throughout the process. The amount of hands-on attention and endless support they are willing to give is unparalleled. I would not be the performer, and person, I am today without them.
CAP taught me how to have confidence in myself, my audition package and my type so that when I walked into the room I was able to present myself as focused and professional. This form of confidence is what kept me grounded and helped me stay centered. Because of that, all of my auditions became an exciting opportunity to show people who I am, rather than fearing if they would like me. I still carry that with me today. With Auditions like SETC, video submissions, A1, callbacks, or even a mock audition, I feel so grounded and confident. Thank you CAP for all that you’ve done for me.
Thanks to the PW CAP program I was able to not only find the school of my dreams through a series of classes, mock auditions and hard work but I was able to make friends that I know will last for a lifetime.
One of the most important things I learned at CAP during the college audition process is that luck doesn't exist; rather, it is the point at which preparation meets opportunity. CAP gave me the confidence to pursue my artistry while also ensuring that I'd be prepared when opportunity struck. I am forever grateful to the staff and community at CAP for challenging me and supporting me in my passion.
I’ve spent my entire high school career with PW and CAP and I am so, so thankful for every moment of it. I’ve grown not only as an artist, but as a person and I’ve developed relationships with the other students that I will have for the rest of my life. In addition, every teacher is loving and supportive and we truly are one big happy family. Some days it’s hard, but I have gained so much new knowledge and perspective and respect for my art and I wouldn’t trade that for the world. PW and CAP have prepared me for college auditions and then even more importantly to be able to succeed in college. It has taught me to love to work and that will make all the difference when I one day pursue musical theatre professionally.
College Audition Project has guided me as an artist and performer. I have learned to work hard on my technique, but also how to be an individual. The teachers have taught me that I have something irreplaceable and completely ME to offer. I would not have been able to make it through college auditions without their training and their encouraging advice! I was taught dancing, acting and vocal training, but also taught how to make connections and navigate the industry. The teachers gave me incredible information about my craft and gave me love and support. Thank you CAP for helping me achieve all that I strive to be.
CAP prepared me for professional life as a Musical Theatre actress by instilling in my a hard work ethic, giving me tools to bring to rehearsals (i.e.: rehearsal etiquette, knowing what to bring to auditions, finding my type), and inspiring me to believe in myself. I am forever grateful for the incredible training I received (unmatched by any other high school program) and the connections I made that I will keep for the rest of my career.
If it weren’t for the College Audition Project, I most certainly would not be where I am today! They provided me with incredible training, wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable teachers and coaches, and a support system of peers who were just as dedicated to their craft as I was!
College Audition Project assisted me tremendously by helping pick audition material. Without the teachers and coaches I most likely would have had a pretty generic audition package with over used monologues and songs.
CAP really helped me hone my craft and helped me in every aspect be able to be as prepared as possible for college auditions. I'm now at an amazing school doing what I love, and I couldn't have done it without their help!
